You will automatically receive a credit on your account unless you specifically request a refund by completing this form by 3/27/20.

Credits will begin posting on your account staring on March 30, 2020

How do I request a refund on my conference registration?
If you choose to receive a refund instead of an automatic credit on your SOMSA account, you must complete this form by March 27, 2020. Refunds will start being processed on March 30, 2020.

UPDATED How long will it take to see my credit or refund?
Your credit or refund will be applied to your account or back to the credit card on file within 14 days, starting March 30, 2020.

UPDATED How do I cancel my hotel reservation?
When our event is cancelled in the hotel’s system,

  • It will automatically cancel the reservations of everyone in our block
  • Anyone with an email address on file will receive a cancellation notice
  • Even if you did not have have an email address on file with the hotel, your reservation will still be cancelled
  • There is no need to call to check or call to cancel if the reservation was made through our group. Another group overloaded Hyatt’s phone system yesterday calling to cancel, when that is unnecessary


Will sponsors/exhibitors receive a refund?
Exhibitors will receive a credit towards 2021. The 2021 conference will be 4/18/21 through 4/21/21. We will announce the location to all sponsors, attendees and speakers in the days to come.

If my sponsor level included eBlasts, or if I purchased them separately, will those still go out?
