Group Rate
Our group rate is $239.00+Tax per night. Group rate is valid for 3 days pre- and post-conference, April 18 to 21, 2021, as available, and can be booked through March 19. After March 19, 2021, rooms may be made at the current rate in our block as available.
About the 2021 Conference
When: Sunday, April 18 to Wednesday, April 21, 2021
Where: The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club
When: Sunday pre-conference courses 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., new member mixer at 5 to 6 PM, sponsor champagne reception with prize drawing from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and opening night reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
General Schedule
- Monday sessions are 8 a.m. to 3 pm, with Monday evening dinner event
- Tuesday sessions are 8 a.m. to 4 pm, with Tuesday night on your own
- Wednesday sessions are 8 a.m. to 1 pm, with vendor drawing near conference close
Dress Code
The dress code for sessions is business casual. The dress code for Sunday evening’s reception is casual.
For Monday evening, we thought it would be nice to have fun with creative face masks, traditional masquerade party masks… or both! We invite you to wear fancy MASK’querade attire. This means business, costume, fancy/traditional masquerade dress, or “anything goes” (just keep it appropriate for a professional event).

JAWS Society/SOMSA is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. This is a COVID-sensitive conference. Attendees should wear masks when not in the general session room, which will be socially distanced. In other words, masks will be required everywhere indoor on the hotel property, except when seated for educational sessions. Additionally, our exhibit hall will allow for the CDC-recommended 6′ between attendees visiting exhibitors and those at the next booth. The Vinoy, as a Marriott property, is following company-wide policies regarding COVID mitigation, which involves everything from sanitizing our meeting spaces during breaks to changing how food is presented.

- The conference will officially open at 5:00 p.m. Sunday night with registration, sponsor champagne reception, and conference opening cocktail reception with light appetizers.
- Sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning, with breakfast before.
- Sessions end at 3:30 p.m.
- The conference will adjourn on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.

The registration fee includes the Sunday night cocktail reception; breakfast, lunch, and a reception, dinner, and entertainment on Monday; and breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
