Part 2 will dive into transitions and change management: how teams adapt to a new surgeon, manager, or lead; strategies for helping staff embrace change rather than resist it; addressing favoritism, scapegoating, or persistent mistakes in constructive ways; and creating a unified “we are one team” culture between front office administrative staff and clinical staff. We’ll also explore practical tools like onboarding standards, doctor handbooks, and communication systems that smooth the transition from residency to practice and support both new and experienced surgeons in building their practices and integrating into a new-to-them practice.
