What's Included & Cancellations
2026 Annual Conference
This page covers the cost of attending the conference for members and non-members, as well as what is included in those fees, the cost of pre-conference course, which events attendees can bring guests to and what that costs, and our cancellation policy.

Members of SOMSA may register at discounted rates, while non-members must pay full price. Conference attendees who register early will save money on their conference registration fees.
Registration Fees
- Member Early Bird: $875.00 (before 03/13/2026)
- Member Regular: $950.00 (on and after 03/14/2026)
- Non-member Early Bird: $1,225.00 (before 03/13/2026)
- Non-member Regular: $1,300.00 (on and after 03/14/2026)
What Is Included in Your Conference Fee
The fee includes:
- Conference program and any handouts (program will be provided digitally before the conference and in hardcopy upon check-in)
- Wednesday evening sponsor reception, Wednesday evening cocktail opening reception with drink ticket
- Breakfast, lunch, and breaks on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
PLEASE NOTE:
- Your name tag serves as your entrance ticket to each reception, meal, or snack break during the conference. Be sure to wear it at all times.
- We cannot replace the drink tickets you receive in your check-in bag at events; please be sure to bring your tickets with your to each event.
Cancellations
All cancellation/refund requests must be received in writing (either mail, email, or fax) to SOMSA office. No refunds will be granted less than 14 days before the conference, and no refunds will be granted because of flight delays, weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
The graduated refund policy for cancellations is as follows.
- 30+ days before the start of the conference: Registrants will receive a refund 100 percent of registration fees, in the same method as registrant’s payment (more than 90 days after payment: a check will be issued).
- 15-29 days before the start of the conference: Registrants will receive a refund 50 percent of the registration fees, in the same method as registrant’s payment (more than 90 days after payment: a check will be issued). Members may opt to receive their refund as a coupon code, valid on their SOMSA account, to be applied to future conference registration fees.
- 14 or fewer days before the start of the conference: No refund.
For the 2026 conference, these dates are:
- 30+ days: April 13, 2026, or before
- 15-29 days: April 14 through April 28, 2026
- 14 or fewer days: April 29 through May 13, 2026 (start of conference)

Pre- & post-Conference Courses
"Coding & Billing 201: Managing to the Metrics”
Pre-Conference Course
- Wednesday, May 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- separate registration required
- check-in and light breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m.
NOTE: Attendees should plan to arrive Tuesday
“Coding & Billing 101: Coding 360”
Post-Conference Course
- Saturday, May 16 at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- check-in and boxed lunch from 12 to 1 p.m.

New Member Discount
During the open conference registration period, non-members may join to take advantage of a special discount: join as a new member, receive a $100 coupon and register for the conference at the member rate, plus the $100 discount. You’ll save $100 off the member conference rate as our “Thank You!” for joining SOMSA.
Here is how to take advantage of this special offer, please join SOMSA first. As we verify new member eligibility, you will have to wait until your new membership is approved before you can register at the member rate. This verification process typically takes 1-2 business days. Once you are verified, you will receive a unique coupon code via email worth $100 towards your conference registration. For questions about your pending membership, please email linden@somsa.org.

Additional Fees: Guests
Guests (friends or family not attending educational sessions) must may attend the Wednesday evening cocktail opening reception for $35 and the Friday evening social event at the Country Music Hall of Fame for $115. Each ticket includes food and one drink ticket.
If you do not pay for your guest during registration, please contact SOMSA office as soon as possible to RSVP and pay for your guest.
